Our Story

A Passion Born Around the Round Table

Round Table Pizza was born from a simple belief: the best meals happen when people gather around a shared table. Founded in 2009 by Marco Deluca and Sofia Reyes on Broadway's Upper West Side, our restaurant started as a neighborhood spot with a wood-fired oven and a handful of recipes passed down through generations.

What began as a 12-seat kitchen has grown into one of New York's most beloved pizza destinations. Our round table concept isn't just about the shape of our pizza — it's a philosophy that every guest deserves a seat at the table, and every meal should be worth remembering.

We source the finest ingredients — San Marzano tomatoes, hand-pulled mozzarella, and locally-milled flour — because we believe that authentic round table pizza starts with authenticity in every ingredient.

2009
2009 — The Beginning

Doors Open on Broadway

Marco and Sofia open Round Table Pizza at 2588 Broadway with a wood-fired oven, 12 seats, and a dream. The first night sells out by 7pm.

2011
2011 — Recognition

NYC Best New Pizza Award

Just two years in, Round Table Pizza wins the New York City Food Critics' "Best New Pizzeria" award, putting us on the map for pizza lovers citywide.

2013
2013 — Expansion

Restaurant Renovation & Growth

We triple our seating capacity from 12 to 40 seats, add a dedicated catering kitchen, and welcome James Wu as our new Sous Chef, expanding our seasonal menu.

2016 — Delivery Launch

Round Table Goes Citywide

We launch our in-house delivery service, bringing authentic round table pizza across Manhattan. 100 deliveries on day one — we never looked back.

2019 — 10th Anniversary

A Decade of Flavor

We celebrate 10 years with a block party on Broadway, serving free pizza to 500 neighbors — a thank you to the community that made us who we are.
